Our products are handmade in Portland, Oregon. That means that there might be tiny imperfections in your mixing glass, or what we like to call marks of character! We inspect every single item before we box it up for shipping. We assure you that each item we ship out, we would use behind our bars with confidence.
If you have any questions about your mixing glass, please contact us here with photos attached. We’re happy to look it over and talk to you.
We worked hand in hand with our glass artists to design and build a beautiful and durable mixing vessel. It is made from soda-lime glass and has been put through the ringer behind our bars—and our friends’ bars—here in Portland. We inspect every single glass that leaves our production facility to ensure the best quality.
Why, yes, it is, but we do recommend hand-washing it.
Treat your BIC ice mallet like you would a nice cutting board—oil it after use every now and then. You should be able to tell when it needs to be treated, but here are some helpful tips from theKitchn. The BIC Lewis Bag is made with untreated American canvas, so it can be machine washed on a gentle cycle in cold water. We suggest hang drying it.
Because all our items are handmade, our products will be out of stock from time to time. Generally, "out of stock items" won’t be out of stock for long! The best way to know the moment something is available is to sign up for the Notify When Available list on each product page.
If you would like to advance purchase something that is out of stock, or purchase a large quantity, to make sure you’re in line, please contact us.
